Rider Dies after Colliding with Another Vehicle at Juniper Flats Road and Watson Road

 
HOMELAND, CA (May 26, 2022) – John Batson died in a motorcycle accident at Juniper Flats Road and Watson Road in Homeland, late Wednesday afternoon.
 
The fatal accident happened around 5:10 p.m. on May 25. According to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department, a vehicle and the motorcycle collided at the intersection in unclear circumstances.
 
The impact caused fatal injuries on Batson, who died at the scene. He was a 56-year-old Hemet man.
 
The driver of the car was not injured.
 
At this time, the California Highway Patrol is investigating to determine the exact cause of the crash and factors involved.
