UPDATE: Jesus Escandon Killed in Car Accident on Overhill Drive at Northridge Drive [Windsor Hills, CA]

Police Identify Jesus Escandon in Fatal Car Accident in Windsor Hills

 
WINDSOR HILLS, CA (July 21, 2022) — A man died in a car accident on Overhill Drive at Northridge Drive on Sunday.
 
The man was identified by the Los Angeles County coroner’s office as 38-year-old Jesus Davila Escandon, whose city of residence was not known.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Inglewood around 7:30 p.m.
 
Soon after, arriving paramedics pronounced Escandon dead at the scene. According to a GoFundMe set up by his family, Escandon was killed by a hit-and-run vehicle.
 
Due to the accident, authorities closed Overhill Drive between Stocker Street and Northridge Drive for the investigation. Nearly three hours later, officials reopened the intersection.
 
At this time, authorities have not established the ultimate cause of the crash. However, if anyone has witnessed this accident, please call the CHP.
