Jesus Aguayo Jr. Killed in Accident on Highway 99 [McFarland, CA]

McFarland Accident with Big Rig on Highway 99 Kills 24-Year-Old Jesus Aguayo Jr.

 
MCFARLAND, CA (May 2, 2022) – Jesus Alberto Zarate Aguayo Jr. was killed in a traffic accident on Highway 99 in McFarland early Sunday morning, April 24.
 
The accident happened around 2:33 a.m. just north of Highway 46. According to the CHP, Aguayo was driving a vehicle when he collided into the back of a big rig for unknown reasons.
 
As a result, Aguayo Jr. suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. He was a 24-year-old Tulare resident, according to the Kern County Coroner’s Office.
 
Another person was also killed in the accident.
 
In addition, a third person suffered moderate injuries.
 
At this time, CHP officials are still trying to determine the exact cause of the crash and factors involved.
