Jessica Ramirez and Kevin O’Brien Killed in Head-On Accident on Cajon Boulevard [San Bernardino, CA]

Head-On Crash on Cajon Boulevard in San Bernardino Kills 2 Drivers and Injures 1

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (April 30, 2023) – Jessica L. Ramirez and Kevin C. O’Brien were killed in a head-on accident in San Bernardino Wednesday afternoon on April 26.
 
The fatal accident happened shortly after 1:15 p.m. on Cajon Boulevard, also called as Historic Route 66, just near Keenbrook Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, Ramirez was driving a 2017 Hyundai northbound when she crossed over double-yellow lines and went into the southbound lanes. She then rear-ended a 2015 Toyota before colliding head-on with O’Brien’s pickup truck.
 
As a result, Ramirez and O’Brien both died at the scene. Ramirez was 33 years old from Helendale, while O’Brien was a 65-year-old San Marcos resident.
 
The third driver suffered minor injuries.
 
All three drivers had no passengers.
 
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
