70-Year-Old Jerry William Lyon Dies in Rollover Crash on Seventh Avenue in Hesperia

 
HESPERIA, CA (April 25, 2021) – Police identified Jerry Lyon, 70, as the victim who died in a multi-vehicle crash on Seventh Avenue on April 21.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Wells Fargo Street around 4:02 PM.
 
Based on a report, witnesses saw a white sedan speeding and running through the stop sign at the intersection. Subsequently, a crash occurred involving a white four-door sedan, a silver pickup truck, and a black sedan that overturned. They also said the impact ejected an adult male from the black sedan.
 
As a result, paramedics transported Jerry William Lyon, Sr., a 70-year-old resident of Hesperia, to Desert Valley Hospital, where he later died. San Bernardino County Firefighters reported there were six other people who suffered injuries in the pile-up.
