The accident happened around 6:20 p.m. on February 5 near Honey Springs Road. According to the CHP, 28-year-old Robert Keith Thomas was driving a 2000 Mazda B3000 truck pulling a boat on a trailer. For unknown reasons, the boat detached from the trailer as he turned west onto Highway 94.
