JC Adame Dies After Object Strikes Him at Shipyard on Harbor Drive near 28th Street

 
August 16, 2024 (August 16, 2024) — JC Adame died in a shipyard accident on Harbor Drive near 28th Street on Monday.
 
According to reports, the industrial accident happened around 1:00 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a steel foundation material fell on top of JC Adame, of San Diego, a pipefitter in the repair department. Subsequently, his coworkers responded to the loud crash to find the material on him while he lay on the concrete floor at the NASSCO plant on East Harbor Drive.
 
After lifting the equipment off him, several employees performed CPR until paramedics arrived to take over. However, Adame succumbed to his injuries.
 
At this time, investigators did not say what led to the incident. However, an investigation should confirm the details.
