FRESNO, CA (October 5, 2021) – Police confirmed that a vehicle struck a man in an accident on Kings Canyon Road on October 4.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened Monday night at the intersection of Cedar Avenue.
 
Based on an initial report, the victim was jaywalking at the time of the crash. Due to unknown circumstances, an unidentified vehicle struck him.
 
As of now, officers have not reported if the victim sustained any injuries in the incident.
 
The driver of the car stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the police.
