Man Jaywalking on Lincoln Avenue in Anaheim Dies after Struck by Two Hit-and-Run Drivers

 
ANAHEIM, CA (July 13, 2022) – A jaywalking man was killed in a hit-and-run crash at Lincoln Avenue and State College Boulevard in Anaheim on Monday evening.
 
The fatal crash happened around 9:10 p.m. on July 11. According to the Anaheim Police Department, the man in his 40s was running southbound across Lincoln when a white SUV driven by a woman struck him outside a crosswalk.
 
First responders found the man unresponsive on the roadway with fatal injuries. They pronounced him dead at the scene.
 
The woman driving the SUV remained on scene.
 
Police said two other vehicles, a white sedan and another white SUV, also hit the victim and took off.
 
Detectives are still working to identify those two drivers who could face hit-and-run charges. An investigation is ongoing.
