Javon Williams Dead, Three Injured in Hesperia Head-On Car Crash

 
HESPERIA, CA (August 26, 2021) — One person died in a head-on accident on Hesperia Road near Mojave Street Monday morning, August 16.
 
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Coroner’s Division identified the deceased man as 29-year-old Apple Valley resident Javon Williams.
 
According to reports, the two-vehicle head-on crash happened around 2:25 a.m. A silver 2019 Nissan Versa and a 2005 Honda Civic collided in the 10200 block of Hesperia Road.
 
The driver of the Honda, identified only as a 22-year-old Hesperia woman, crossed the center lane for reasons that are under investigation. As a result, the northbound Honda on Hesperia Road hit the southbound Nissan driven by a 27-year-old Victorville woman.
 
Williams, a passenger in the Honda, died of his injuries at the scene.
 
A 26-year-old female passenger in the Honda, as well as the drivers of both vehicles, suffered major injuries. Soon after, officials airlifted all three to hospitals for treatment.
 
At this time, the Hesperia Sheriff’s Major Accident Investigation Team has yet to confirm the ultimate cause of the crash.
