Pedestrian Jasmine Gibson Arrested in Diamond Springs Hit-and-Run

 
DIAMOND SPRINGS, CA (November 8, 2021)Jasmine Gibson faces charges in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Patterson Drive near Sunlight Drive on Halloween night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened around 7:55 p.m. For suspected DUI reasons, 28-year-old Gibson swerved to the shoulder and struck a victim holding the hand of a child trick-or-treating.
 
As a result of the accident, the victim suffered major injuries. Per witnesses’ testimonies, Gibson stopped momentarily before fleeing the scene with a juvenile in her car.
 
Soon after, police arrested Gibson at her job in El Dorado County, later charging her with felony hit-and-run.
