Two-Vehicle Crash in Apple Valley Kills Woman and 5-Month Old Baby

 
APPLE VALLEY, CA (June 7, 2021) – Jasmine Amesquita and Ragnar Segovia were killed in a two-vehicle accident in Apple Valley Sunday afternoon, June 6.
 
The accident happened around 2:23 p.m. on Deep Creek Road at Poppy Street. CHP officials said a Ford Crown Victoria and a Toyota Corolla collided for unknown reasons.
 
Firefighters responded to the scene and determined they had multiple patients. They requested a total of four helicopters and five ambulances to transport the patients to hospitals.
 
Amesquita, a 23-year-old Apple Valley resident, died at the scene along with the 5-month old baby. The relationship of the two deceased was not immediately known.
 
Meanwhile, four other people sustained injuries from the crash.
 
At this time, the California Highway Patrol is still investigating the accident.
