Jasemine Henderson Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on 4th Street at Spring Street in Los Angeles

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (October 29, 2021) – Police identified Jasemine Henderson as the woman who suffered severe injuries in an electric scooter crash on 4th Street on October 27.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Spring Street shortly after 1:00 PM. Based on an initial report, Henderson was riding a rental electric scooter westbound on 4th prior to the crash.
 
She was against a one-way road at that time. Then, she crashed head-on with a 2020 Chevy Spark that was traveling eastbound on the road. Subsequently, the crash sent Henderson into the air, causing her to land headfirst onto the sidewalk.
 
As a result, the victim suffered severe injuries in the incident. The Los Angeles Fire Department transported her to a local hospital in stable condition.
