Jamaal Freeman Killed in Pedestrian Accident on 220th Street [Carson, CA]

34-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Vehicle at 220th Street and Avalon Boulevard

 
CARSON, CA (January 4, 2023) – Jamaal Freeman was killed in a pedestrian accident in Carson Tuesday morning on January 3.
 
The fatal accident happened around 5:00 a.m. at 220th Street and Avalon Boulevard. According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, Freeman was crossing the intersection when a vehicle struck him.
 
Freeman suffered fatal injuries from the crash and died at the scene. He was 34 years old, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
 
The involved driver stayed on scene and cooperated with authorities.
 
The circumstances of this fatality remain under investigation.
