ATV Rider Jakob Villasenor Dies in Crash at Jurupa Valley Intersection

 
JURUPA VALLEY, CA (June 8, 2021) – Jakob Villasenor was killed when his ATV collided with a car at a Jurupa Valley intersection Sunday afternoon, June 6.
 
The crash happened around 4:30 p.m. at 20th Street and Rubidoux Boulevard. According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the 21-year-old Bloomington man was riding a quad on city streets and approached the intersection at the same time as a 2014 Honda Accord.
 
The two vehicles collided and Villasenor suffered severe injuries from the impact.
 
Villasenor was rushed by paramedics to Riverside Community Hospital, where he died less than an hour later.
 
Meanwhile, the two occupants of the Honda escaped injury.
 
Crews closed the intersection for several hours while they cleared the wreckage.
 
An investigation into this fatal crash is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff’s Jurupa Valley station at 951-955-2600.
