Ivan Gotisan Killed in Head-On Accident on Kiefer Boulevard [Rosemont, CA]

Driver Dies after Struck Head-On by Another Motorist on Kiefer Boulevard in Rosemont

 
ROSEMONT, CA (March 26, 2021) – Ivan Gotisan was killed in a head-on accident late Thursday afternoon in Rosemond, authorities said.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 5:22 p.m., March 25, on Kiefer Boulevard east of Tallyho Drive.
 
Gotisan, a 20-year-old Sacramento resident, was driving west on Kiefer Boulevard. At the same time, a 40-year-old Elk Grove man was driving in the opposite direction when he crossed over a left-hand turn lane into oncoming traffic, hitting Gotisan head-on.
 
As a result, Gotisan sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
The Elk Grove driver had minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
 
It is unknown if drugs and/or alcohol were factors in the collision. Further investigation is underway.
