Isaiah Guzman Causes DUI Accident on Redwood Avenue in Atwater

 
ATWATER, CA (August 8, 2021) – Police arrested Isaiah Guzman following a hit-and-run accident on Redwood Avenue on August 2.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Third Street at approximately 7:45 PM.
 
Based on reports, Isaiah Guzman, 25, was driving a white Buick Regal eastbound on Redwood at the time of the crash. Then, he failed to stop at a posted stop sign and collided with the right side of a white Chevrolet Silverado traveling northbound on Third. Subsequently, the Chevy collided with the front end of a white Honda Civic. Afterward, Guzman fled the scene.
 
As a result, an adult male passenger in the Buick and the adult female driver of the Chevrolet both sustained minor injuries in the crash. The victims’ conditions did not require hospitalization.
 
Later on, an officer in the area of Bellevue Road and Parade Street stopped Guzman and found him to have a suspended license. In addition, the officer observed signs of intoxication, prompting an arrest. At this point, this case is still under investigation by the Atwater Police Department.
