Isaac Vargas Killed in Car Accident on Colton Avenue [Redlands, CA]

Teen Passenger Dies after Crash at Colton Avenue and Redlands Boulevard

 
REDLANDS, CA (June 3, 2021) – Isaac Jacob Vargas was killed in a car accident early Sunday morning in Redlands, police said.
 
The accident happened around 2:13 a.m. on May 30 at Colton Avenue and Redlands Boulevard. According to the Redlands Police Department, a vehicle had crashed at the intersection for unknown reasons.
 
Responding emergency crews found the teen passenger with significant injuries. They attempted saving him, but Vargas died at the scene.
 
Vargas was a 16-tear-old San Bernardino resident, according to the coroner’s office. The surviving family and friends have set up a GoFundMe in his name.
 
The condition of the driver was not immediately known.
 
The exact cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
