Transit Services Bureau Bus Involved in Accident on 5 Freeway at Magic Mountain Parkway in Valencia

 
VALENCIA, CA (July 12, 2022) – Police confirmed injuries in a Transit Services Bureau bus accident on northbound 5 Freeway on July 11.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Magic Mountain Parkway at about 12:24 PM.
 
Based on a report, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department bus was transporting 18 inmates at the time of the crash. Officers said the initial findings showed it collided with a small Toyota.
 
As a result, an L.A. County Fire officials said three people suffered injuries. Paramedics transported the patients to a local area hospital for treatment. In addition, officers brought the inmates to Pitchess Detention Center for evaluation.
