SHERMAN OAKS, CA (August 23, 2021) — A crash on 405 Freeway near Burbank Boulevard left at least one person injured on Thursday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 3:00 p.m. A white sedan and a black car collided on the 405 Freeway near the exit at Burbank Boulevard.
 
Upon learning of the crash, law enforcers and other emergency responders rushed to the area. They found the black car blocking the HOV lane. The white sedan, meanwhile, was facing the wrong way in the middle lane of the freeway.
 
Officials called in an ambulance to attend to those injured. The number of those who sustained injuries was not clear, however. Also, information on the extent of injuries was not immediately available.
 
Meantime, the crash left the 405 Freeway North heavily congested. Traffic was backed up up to Mulholland Drive based on reports.
