Car Overturns after Crashing into Power Pole on Richmond Road in Lassen County

 
LASSEN COUNTY, CA (December 1, 2022) – Injuries were reported after a rollover accident on Richmond Road on Thanksgiving night.
 
Around 8:30 p.m. on November 24, emergency responders found a Subaru on its roof. According to the California Highway Patrol, the Subaru had collided with an LMUD power pole with enough force to collapse it and leave it lying across Richmond road near Circle Drive.
 
The occupants in the car were trapped in the wreckage.
 
Emergency crews and LMUD linemen safely got the passengers and driver out of the vehicle. The patients only sustained minor injuries from the crash.

The crash left 900 homes in the dark on Thanksgiving night. The loss of power affected those in the Richmond road, Susan Hills, and Golf Course areas for two hours.

The crash of the crash is still under investigation.
