Contra Costa Three-Vehicle Crash Delays Traffic

 
CONTRA COSTA, CA (October 31, 2022) — A multi-vehicle crash on Vasco Road in Contra Costa left at least one person injured.
 
According to the authorities, the incident happened on Thursday at 5:30 a.m. south of Camino Diablo. An initial investigation showed that a vehicle veered off its lane into oncoming traffic. Subsequently, it broadsided at least two vehicles.
 
All vehicles involved ended up blocking southbound Vasco Road near Camino Diablo, causing delays in traffic. One of them sustained major front-end damage. Tow trucks were called to the scene to remove the wreckage.
 
Meanwhile, officials confirmed that at least one person sustained minor injuries in the crash. They did not, however, released additional information about the extent of injuries and the names of those involved in the accident. The investigation is ongoing.
