Lanes Closed after Myers Flat Two-Vehicle Accident on Highway 101
MYERS FLAT, CA (February 16, 2023) – Injuries were reported following a two-vehicle accident on Highway 101, Tuesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on February 14, at about 1:16 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a red Toyota Tacoma and a silver sedan collided just north of Myers Flat.
As per reports, the silver sedan sustained major front-end damage.
Emergency crews rendered aid to the sedan driver, but the victim did not need hospitalization. Meanwhile, the driver of the Toyota was uninjured.
The collision reportedly blocked both lanes of northbound traffic. However, responders cleared one lane of northbound Highway 101 less than an hour later.
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
