Oroville Head-On Accident on Larkin Road Kills 3 People
OROVILLE, CA (February 25, 2021) – Three people died in a head-on accident on Larkin Road in Oroville Monday afternoon.
46-year-old Hugo Guadiana, 64-year-old Frank Medina, and Medina’s 9-year-old grandson were pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash in the 4000 block of Larkin Road.
Around 2:00 p.m. on February 22, Oroville Police and Fire said they received numerous phone calls about a head-on collision between Mineral Way and Airport Parkway.
When officers arrived, they found all three victims dead at the scene. Guadiana, Medina, and the boy were all in the same vehicle.
A fourth person in the same car sustained unspecified injuries and taken to a hospital.
Meanwhile, several other people in the second vehicle were also hospitalized.
A stretch of the roadway closed for approximately three hours as agencies responded to the crash. As a result, police asked motorists to avoid the area due to the road closure.
The cause of this accident is under investigation.
