OAKLAND, CA (November 17, 2021) – Police are now looking for a hit-and-run driver following a pedestrian accident on Telegraph Avenue on November 6.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Grand Avenue around 12:30 AM.
 
Based on an initial report, a white Audi plowed through the intersection. Subsequently, it hit a pedestrian and fled the scene afterward.
 
A man recorded the incident and called emergency services as other witnesses rushed to help the pedestrian. Immediately, paramedics transported the pedestrian to a hospital for treatment.
 
Currently, officials are looking for the white Audi 4-door sedan with dark tinted windows.
 
At this point, an investigation is ongoing. In addition, officials ask anyone with information to contact the Oakland Police Department.
