One Hospitalized after Motorcycle Crash on 710 Freeway at Willow Street in Long Beach
LONG BEACH, CA (July 18, 2022) – Police are now looking for a hit-and-run driver after a motorcycle crash on 710 Freeway on July 17.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Willow Street around 1:53 PM.
Based on a report, the motorcyclist was in the fast lane at the time of the crash. Due to unknown circumstances, the victim collided with a vehicle. Subsequently, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene. A Long Beach Fire Department spokesman described it as a gray Ford Fusion without plates.
As a result, the rider suffered injuries in the incident. Paramedics transported the victim to the hospital for treatment. As of now, his condition is not yet available.
At this point, police are working to located and identify the driver of the car. Also, other details are not yet clear at this time.
