Woman Critically Injured in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Cypress Avenue in El Monte
EL MONTE, CA (June 7, 2021) – Police tracked down a hit-and-run driver following a pedestrian accident in the 4300 block of Cypress Avenue on June 2.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Lambert Avenue around 3:15 PM.
Based on a report, responding officers found a woman down in the lanes. Prior to that, they said that a vehicle struck the victim and left the scene.
As a result, the pedestrian sustained serious injuries in the incident. Crews transported her to Los Angeles County USC Medical Center in critical but stable condition.
