Hector Guillen Charged in Road Rage Crash at Del Monte Boulevard and Reservation Road

 
MARINA, CA (April 4, 2023) — Hector Guillen faces an arrest following a road rage accident at Del Monte Boulevard and Reservation Road.
 
According to Marina police officers, the incident happened around 7:26 a.m. Thursday. Within four hours, the police received three felony calls. Upon arriving at the intersection of Del Monte Boulevard and Reservation Road, police found two vehicles involved in the crash.
 
Officers learned that both drivers were involved in a road rage crash in the city of Salinas before it ended at the intersection of Del Monte Boulevard and Reservation Road.
 
After the first impact between the two vehicles, 28-year-old Hector Guillen continued to ram his white BMW into the second driver’s vehicle multiple times from behind. However, the victim tried to escape by making a U-turn over the center median after the vehicle was pushed into the intersection. The victim subsequently tried to drive to the Marina Police Department before finally calling them for help.
 
Following the incident, officers arrested Guillen for assault with a deadly weapon and booked him into Monterey County jail with a bail set at $30,000. Information surrounding the second driver’s injuries, if any occurred at all, was unavailable.
