Head-On Crash on Highway 78 near Ramona Oaks RV Resort Resulted in Vehicular Damages

 
RAMONA, CA (June 3, 2021) — A head-on crash on Highway 78 closed both directions of the highway on Saturday, May 29.
 
The accident took place near the Ramona Oaks RV Resort at 24340 SR 78 in Ramona at about 9:35 a.m.
 
According to a California Highway Patrol, the head-on crash involved a Lexus SUV and Chevrolet 1500 truck. The woman in the Lexus said that the collision occurred when a truck came from the corner and struck her.
 
There were no immediate reports of any sustained injuries in the incident.
 
At around 10:10 a.m. Saturday, Caltrans San Diego issued a Sigalert as tow trucks responded to the area to clear the debris.
