DUI Car Crash on Lincoln Avenue in Orange Leaves 3 People Dead

 
ORANGE, CA (July 10, 2022)Gustavo Castro was one of three people who died in a fiery DUI accident in Orange early Saturday morning on July 9.
 
Around 2:45 a.m., officers conducting a traffic stop spotted a speeding 2005 Nissan Altima southbound and tried to catch up with it.
 
When they arrived at Glassell Street and Taft Avenue, they located the car fully engulfed in flames. They also found a suspected nitrous oxide tank and balloons in and around the vehicle.
 
The Altima crashed into guardrails and signal lights related to a railroad crossing, accordign to the Orange Police Department. All seven occupants in the car were thrown into the roadway.
 
Castro, 26-year-old Garden Grove resident, died at the scene.
 
A teenage boy and a teenage girl also died in the accident.
 
The driver, 19-year-old Azarie Fuller of Exeter, suffered critical injuries. Another teenage boy and a teenage girl, were also in critical condition.
 
A third teenage boy was hospitalized with moderate injuries.
 
The investigation continued and Orange police urged anyone with further information to call them at 714-744-7444.
