71-Year-Old Guillermina Lara Dies after Fresno County Crash with Semi Truck at Manning Avenue and South Marks Avenue

 
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (July 15, 2022) – Guillermina Carapia Lara was killed in a semi truck accident in Fresno County on Wednesday evening.
 
The accident happened around 7:00 p.m. on July 13 in the area of Manning Avenue and South Marks Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, the woman was driving a sedan when she pulled out in front of a semi-tanker.
 
The driver of the semi-tanker tried stopping in time, but could not and crashed into the sedan.
 
As a result of the crash, 71-year-old Lara suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene, according to the Fresno County Coroner’s Office.
 
The man driving the semi was not injured.
 
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
