Gregory Rabb Struck, Killed by Train near Texas Street and Taft Street
FAIRFIELD, CA (January 18, 2022) — Gregory Rabb died when a train struck him near Texas Street and Taft Street, early Monday.
According to the Solano County Coroner, Rabb died on the tracks behind the Mandarin Restaurant at 744 North Texas Street.
For unknown reasons, the 56-year-old man was struck and killed by the oncoming Union Pacific Railroad train. Soon after, Fairfield Police responded to tend to the investigation.
At this time, the circumstances and cause of the crash require additional examination. However, any witnesses with information should contact the Fairfield Police.
