Gregory Masters Killed in Two-Vehicle Accident on Miles Avenue [Indio, CA]

90-Year-Old Man Dies in Afternoon Two-Vehicle Accident at Miles Avenue and Heritage Palms Drive

 
INDIO, CA (January 16, 2022) – Gregory Masters died in a two-vehicle accident in Indio on Friday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 4:44 p.m. on January 14 at Miles Avenue and Heritage Palms Drive. According to the Riverside County Fire Department, two vehicles collided at the intersection in unclear circumstances.
 
Responding firefighters found a total of five victims, two of whom needed to be extricated from the vehicles.
 
Masters was rushed to John F. Kennedy Memorial Medical Center, where he later died. He was 90 years old, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office.
 
Meanwhile, two other patients suffered major injuries while three others had moderate injuries.
 
At this time, is unknown if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
