Rollover Crash in San Clemente Kills Driver and Injures Passenger

 
SAN CLEMENTE, CA (August 22, 2022) – Gregory Hudson Lynch was killed in a rollover accident in San Clemente on Saturday morning, August 20.
 
The accident happened just after 9:30 a.m. along the northbound 5 Freeway at Camino De Los Mares. According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, Lynch was driving his vehicle when he suffered a medical emergency. His vehicle crashed into a tree and overturned.
 
Lynch, a 63-year-old San Clemente resident, died at the scene. His passenger, a woman in her 20s, suffered moderate injuries.
 
Camino De Los Mares was closed between Camino El Molino and Calle Aqua for the investigation.
