Gregory Chisholm Killed in Bicycle Crash on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard near White Hill Preserve

 
FAIRFAX, CA (February 1, 2022) — Gregory Chisholm died in a bicycle accident on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard near White Hill Preserve, late Saturday morning.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the fatal bicycle crash occurred around 11:45 a.m. For unknown reasons, a 41-year-old Forest Knolls man driving a Honda SUV eastbound on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard veered into the shoulder.
 
Subsequently, the car struck 58-year-old Gregory Scott Chisholm from behind, knocking him off his bike and onto the ground. Meanwhile, the Honda overturned into a nearby ditch.
 
Shortly after, paramedics responded and transported Chisholm, of San Francisco, to MarinHealth Medical Center where he died shortly after.
 
As for the Honda driver, he suffered minor injuries and sought hospital care.
 
At this time, officers do not believe alcohol or drugs played a factor in the accident. However, an investigation into the crash should reveal more details.
