Glenda Pickering Dies in Accident with Tree on Road 39 near 5 Freeway

 
BLUEGUM, CA (August 11, 2021) — Glenda Seth Pickering died after crashing into a tree on Road 39 near the 5 Freeway Sunday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, 62-year-old Pickering was driving a vehicle and wearing her seatbelt when she slammed into a tree.
 
Pickering, a Washington resident, died in the crash.
 
Her 56-year-old female passenger from Kelso, Wash. also died in the accident.
 
Around 6:05 a.m., CHP officers reached the scene and found a 2001 Nissan Sentra wrapped around a tree. It was then when authorities learned that both women had died.
 
At this time, the crash remains under investigation. However, anyone with more information should call the CHP.
