Authorities Identify Pedestrian Gaspar Hernandez Killed in Garden Grove Hit-and-Run

 
GARDEN GROVE, CA (March 24, 2021) – Authorities have identified the pedestrian who died in a hit-and-run accident early Sunday morning in Garden Grove.
 
According to the Orange County Coroner’s Office, 30-year-old Gaspar Hernandez of Orange died at the hospital.
 
Officers were dispatched at 3:30 a.m., March 21 to the area of Katella Avenue and Dino Street. When they arrived, they found Hernandez lying down in the roadway with major injuries.
 
Paramedics rushed Hernandez to UC Irvine Medical Center, where he later died, the coroner’s office said.
 
Meanwhile, the involved driver that struck Hernandez fled the scene after the crash.
 
Garden Grove police traffic investigators urged anyone with further information to call them at 714-741-5823.
