Gary Styles Dies in Richmond Car Crash

 
RICHMOND, CA (June 27, 2021)Gary Styles was killed in a two-car accident early Thursday morning in Richmond.
 
The accident happened around 2:20 a.m. on June 24, at the intersection of South 37th Street and Carlson Boulevard. According to the Richmond Police Department, an Audi SUV was traveling north on Carson when it broadsided an Acura sedan as it entered the intersection.
 
Styles, a 66-year-old Oakland resident, was trapped inside the Audi. Paramedics cut him free from the wreckage with hydraulic tools and rushed him to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek. He died while undergoing treatment.
 
Meanwhile, four people in the Audi suffered unspecified injuries from the crash and were also hospitalized.
