81-Year-Old Gail Bronson Dead in Car Crash on Thousand Palms Canyon Road in Desert Hot Springs

 
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA (March 18, 2022) – Authorities identified 81-year-old Gail Bronson of Indio as the victim killed in a head-on crash on Thousand Palms Canyon Road, Monday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on March 14 at about 3:29 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a southbound Toyota veered to the right of the roadway.
 
Then, the Toyota driver, later identified as Bronson, made an unsafe turn and entered the northbound lanes. There, the Toyota collided head-on with a Nissan near Dillon Road.
 
The impact of the collision caused the Toyota to overturn.
 
Emergency crews rushed Bronson to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, where she later died.
 
As per reports, the driver of the Nissan was also transported to Desert Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries.
