SAN LEANDRO, CA (August 11, 2022) — A furniture store was damaged in a car accident on 14th Street near Sybil Avenue on Sunday.
 
According to San Leandro police officers, the accident occurred around 11:00 p.m. For unknown reasons, a driver crashed through the brick wall of Dupree’s Furniture around 10:45 p.m.
 
Running for more than five decades, the furniture store sustained smashed windows and a destroyed brick wall. In addition, a light pole toppled over.
