UPDATE: Frederick Girard Killed, Patrick Davis Arrested in Head-On Car Accident on Bentley Road [Modesto, CA]

Head-On Accident on Bentley Road in Modesto Kills Frederick Girard and Badly Injures Wilma Girard

 
MODESTO, CA (December 3, 2021) – One person died while police arrested a possible DUI driver after a head-on car accident on Bentley Road approaching Kemper Road on Sunday, November 28.
 
CHP officials said just before 4:00 p.m., 86-year-old Wilma Girard and 86-year-old Frederick Girard drove in a 2007 Toyota Camry on Bentley Road. Soon after, the Camry was t-boned by a 2003 Chevy pickup while the Camry made a left turn.
 
Inside the pickup were two children — a three-year-old and a five-month-old. Both were the children of 33-year-old Patrick Davis, who drove the pickup.
 
Frederick died as a result of the crash, while Wilma was taken by helicopter to a local hospital.
 
However, the kids and Davis were not hurt. According to records, police arrested Davis for DUI on scene.
 
At this time, the California Highway Patrol is still investigating this fatal accident.
