Freddy Perez Killed in Motorcycle Hit-and-Run on Rinaldi Street [Mission Hills, CA]

Rider Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Pickup Truck on Rinaldi Street near Sepulveda Boulevard

 
MISSION HILLS, CA (July 18, 2022) – Freddy Perez was killed in a motorcycle hit-and-run crash in Mission Hills late Saturday on July 16.
 
The fatal crash happened around 11:45 p.m. just west of Sepulveda Boulevard. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a dark-colored long-bed pickup truck was going westbound on Rinaldi when it struck Perez who was riding his motorcycle in the westbound lanes of traffic.
 
After the crash, the pickup truck continued westbound on Rinaldi onto the southbound 405 Freeway without stopping.
 
Perez, a 30-year-old Granada Hills resident, died at the scene.
