Four Injured after Solo-Vehicle Accident on Highway 101 near Highway 154
BUELLTON, CA (January 3, 2022) — Four people suffered injuries in a solo vehicle crash on Highway 101 on Thursday, December 30.
According to Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the incident occurred at about 11 p.m. just north of Highway 154.
Fire Capt. Daniel Bertucelli said the vehicle, a sedan, went off the roadway and hit a tree.
Two occupants of the vehicle sustained major injuries. One suffered minor injuries and one had moderate injuries.
The identities of the injured persons were not immediately available.
American Medical Response ambulances rushed the patients to local hospitals.
California Highway Patrol handles the ongoing investigation of the incident.
