Two-Vehicle Accident near 8th and H Streets in Downtown Sacramento Sends 3 to Hospital

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (July 21, 2021) – Four people sustained injuries in a two-vehicle accident near 8th Street and H Street in downtown Sacramento Tuesday morning.
 
The accident happened just after 9:00 a.m. on July 20. According to the Sacramento Fire Department, a pickup truck and an SUV collided for unknown reasons. The impact injured a total of four people.
 
Two of the patients suffered moderate injuries, while the other two had minor injuries. Of those people, paramedics transported three to a hospital.
 
At this time, it is unclear if speed, drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
