WINNETKA, CA (February 3, 2021) – Four people sustained injuries after a head-on accident on Nordhoff Street in Winnetka area, Friday morning.

The head-on accident happened shortly after 9:00 a.m. in the 20400 block of Nordhoff Street near Mason Avenue.

According to the CHP, two vehicles collided head-on for unknown reasons. The impact resulted in three serious injuries and one moderate injury.

Responding firefighters also found one person trapped inside the car.

All injured patients were transported to nearby hospitals for proper treatment.

Following the collision, crews closed the area around Nordhoff Street and Mason Avenue until around 1:30 p.m.

The circumstances of this head-on accident remain under investigation.
