Head-On Accident on 30th Street East in Lancaster Hurts 4 Including Child

 
LANCASTER, CA (November 14, 2021) – Four people suffered injuries in a head-on accident at 30th Street East and East Avenue G in Lancaster late Saturday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 5:32 p.m. on November 13. According to the California Highway Patrol, a four-door sedan and a Toyota pickup truck collided head-on for unknown reasons. The impact sent the pickup about 50 to 75 feet off the roadway.
 
One of the vehicles also caught fire as a result of the crash, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
 
Paramedics found three adults and one child with injuries from the crash.
 
An air ambulance took the child to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles with mild complaints. A ground ambulance transported the three adults to a hospital in unknown conditions.
 
At this time, it is unclear if speed, drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
