Four Injured after Car Accident on 2nd Street and Valley Drive

 
HERMOSA BEACH, CA (December 28, 2022) — Four people suffered injuries following a car crash on 2nd Street on Tuesday, December 27.
 
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the incident happened near 2nd Street and Valley Drive just before 1 a.m.
 
Reports said a red Jeep crashed into a white Dodge pickup. Two people got trapped inside the Jeep. Firefighters used hydraulic tools to extricate them.
 
Medics rushed a total of four injured patients from the Jeep to the hospital for treatment. The extent of their conditions is not immediately available.
 
Officials continue to investigate the incident. However, police believe speed contributed as a factor.
 
Authorities temporarily closed Southbound Valley Drive from Herondo Street to Second Street for the clean-up and investigation.
