Two-Vehicle Accident on Mission Boulevard in Jurupa Valley Leaves 5 People Injured

 
JURUPA VALLEY, CA (January 5, 2022) – Five people suffered injuries in a two-vehicle accident at Mission Boulevard and Wallace Street Tuesday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 12:15 p.m. on January 4. According to the Riverside County Fire Department, two vehicles collided at the intersection for unknown reasons.

Multiple engine crews were dispatched to the site and found a total of five patients and two people were trapped inside one of the vehicles. Firefighters deployed industrial saws and other gear to free the victims.
 
Paramedics then rushed one patient to Riverside Community Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Another victim suffered moderate injuries, and the remaining three had minor injuries.

At this time, the cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
