Pickup Truck Overturns on Highway 14 in Acton, 5 People Hurt

 
ACTON, CA (September 13, 2022) – Five people were hospitalized after a rollover accident on Highway 14 in Acton on Tuesday afternoon, September 6.
 
The accident happened around 3:02 p.m. along the southbound highway near Escondido Canyon Road. According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, officers responded to the crash scene and found an overturned black Dodge pickup truck with its camper on its side.
 
Paramedics transported a total of patients to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries.
 
The crash also caused extensive damage to the guardrail.
 
It is unclear if speed, drugs or alcohol played a factor in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
