CHICO, CA (December 3, 2021) – Paramedics transported five people to the hospital following a rear-end accident on Highway 32 on November 30.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Meridian Road around 7:30 PM.
 
Based on a report, a white pickup truck rear-ended a black vehicle. Officers with the Butte County CAL FIRE, the Chico Fire Department, and California Highway Patrol found the vehicles blocking the highway.
 
As a result, one person inside the black car and four others in the white pickup truck sustained injuries in the incident. Paramedics transported all five people to the hospital for treatment. One of the occupants was a minor and the other four were adults.
 
In the end, officers looked at speed as a factor in the crash. At this point, an investigation is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
